		<description>We have A/C and ceiling fans as well. The ceiling fans cut way down on how often we actually use our A/C. Our last home only had A/C and we used it so much more. My electric bill hardly changes in the summer months which is a good indication we don&#039;t use the A/C much.</description>

		<description>Nice post Todd,&lt;br/&gt;I agree with you 100% on the &quot;green&quot; award going to the fans, but being from Florida, and now living in North Carolina, it is in the 90s here almost daily this time of year through August, so the fans just won&#039;t cut it. In my home, we do have ceiling fans everywhere, even in the kitchen (helps with the house heating up because of the oven/stove), and we use them to compliment the A/C to try and have it working less (the A/C). &lt;br/&gt;Thanks,&lt;br/&gt;Keith&lt;br/&gt;PS: How about a post on the difference between using gas/oil over electricity for appliances/heat. Especially the heat, there will be real problems this winter in colder areas for people who only have oil/gas heaters! Just a thought.</description>
