Today I spoke to one of our customers that recently moved into his new home we built. The home was one of the homes we’ve built with spray applied cellulose insulation in the walls. The weather here in NH is starting to get cooler at night. This morning it was in the 30′s and he called me to say that he woke up to a house that was 72 degrees with NO heat on! That’s right, he hasn’t turned the heating system on yet and the house stayed at 72 degrees when it was in the mid 30′s outside. He’s not the first customer to rave about how well their new homes hold heat compared to traditionally insulated homes. So the investment that was made in the spray applied cellulose insulation will certainly pay off with the high prices of heating fuel.
