We just finished a big project of putting built-in bookshelves across one wall in our home, to make a library. The only thing missing in the room now, is the trim work that goes all along the base of the floor (we removed it all upon the initial remodel of the room). Summer is here, outdoor projects of course! I’ve been wanting to redo a walkway that is concrete block right now. I’d like it to be brick to match the patio!

We are building (and blogging) a new home, so we have all sorts of Home Depot purchases in the mix. Lighting and fans are a big issue and so we would use this money for some of the lighting.

I’d improve my yard by getting good bird feeders that the squirrels can’t eat (!!) and the good brands of birdseed and then those dry corn cob things to keep the squirrels away from the feeders!

I would use this to buy a wall paper to my bedroom, needs updating.

I would use this gift card for my husband to buy a new over the range microwave. It sounds strange that it would be for him, but it truly is! He hates the mircowave that we have now because it is an older model rarely works correctly and quite frankly looks hideous. If the man of the house thinks it is hideous, then it needs to be replaced ASAP!

Get rid of the awful wallpaper and paint in the “guys” bathroom. It is the ugliest thing I have ever seen and is now peeling away from the wall and was here when we moved into this house by previous owner. I won’t let guests use this bathroom because it looks so awful lol.
