Love Christmas and all the presents that come with the holiday season only to find yourself struggling with where to put everything before your holiday break is over? And what about the items you keep stashing away every year like unused gift wrapping supplies and old family ornaments that just end up gathering mildew in your damp basement?

Well, forget all that stress, mess and loss. Get organized this holiday season by investing in seasonal storage space where you can find storage unit types to target the climate you need for your personal possessions.

In fact, here are seven reasons you should consider investing in places like Uncle Bob’s Self Storage where you can find all varieties of storage unit types just to fit your needs and budget today:

1) Put an end to the loss of your precious family heirlooms the boast tons of sentimental value, items that simply cannot be replaced or repaired. Finally store them in a safe, controlled environment once and for all for future generations to enjoy.

2) Get monthly rentals with no hassles, and save up front with online special offers.

3) Enjoy easy access to your storage area, no fuss.

4) Rent space and get truck rental fees waived, saving you money to spend on other things.

5) Get your storage unit, all your boxes and other moving supplies, even rent your moving truck – all at one location – locally or online in a click.

6) Choose from over 400 Uncle Bob’s Self Storage facilities throughout the USA with a simply online locator tool for free and let your fingers stop doing the walking through the Yellow Pages.

7) Grow your storage space as your needs grow starting with lockers and moving up to sheds, warehouses and even huge commercial areas.

When you go green by investing in seasonal storage units, you eliminate unnecessary waste of decaying household items that can be enjoyed for generations to come. Let professional movers and storage experts help you take care of what is most important to you while you focus on other pressing matters. And finally get organized and have peace of mind knowing you have invested in your future, and your family’s future, going green, no less. Now that’s a win-win!

I’ve been using core aeration on my lawn the last three years and it’s made an amazing difference in how thick the lawn has grown.

Lawn Core aeration is a method of removing small plugs of soil and grass from the lawn. Plug aerators are typically very simple machines that plunge spoon like tubes into the lawn and remove a plug 1 inch in diameter by 2 or 3 inches in length.

Lawn core areation benefits the lawn by:

Improved porosity of the soil allowing better penetration of water and oxygen which promotes deeper root growth.

Improved soil microorganisms that decompose thatch.

Prevents runoff of fertilizers and pesticides.

The best time to perform lawn aeration is during the fall. By aerating in the fall you give grass a nice jump start in the spring which results in a thicker, healthier and greener lawn the following summer.

Now you might be asking what this has to do with green construction and it really doesn’t. However, I’m all for promoting green living ideas and products so I agreed to do a review for them.

The CARRYECO green grocery bag is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. They are produced in audited manufacturing plants so you know these bags are the real deal.

A chic tote and an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable bags. The large capacity tote goes from beach to town and conveniently folds into its own interior pocket. CarryEco bags are manufactured in an ethically audited factory in a choice of 8 colorful prints. Produced from 100% recycled bottles. 26″ x 17″ w/handle drop 11″

So the real question is what did my wife and I think of these environmentally responsible bags? We already use re-usable bags that we bought at Hannaford’s and Walmart so I was curious to compare them to the one from TOKYObay.

There is no doubt that the ones available from TOKYObay are much more fashionable. My wife thought the bag had a nice design and the ones available all offer some great designs. For me the comparison was in performance. My first impressions have been mixed. I honestly like the “stiffer” canvas type bags that we already own. The reason I say that is they hold their shape better and make it easier to load and unload the groceries. Both types of bags definitely hold more groceries compared to today’s plastic bags.

The verdict is pretty simple. If you’re looking for a stylish alternative to the boring look of recycled grocery bags then you should check out the bags that TOKYObay offers. No matter which type you choose the real issue is making the switch and helping to reduce the waste that happens everyday in this country with plastic grocery bags.

Thanks for sharing your product TOKYObay and I hope more people will start using recylced grocery bags in the future.

You can buy several different recycled grocery bags from Amazon. The following are just a sample of the bags available.
Reusable Grocery Tote Bag 5 Pack Combo
The Planet Bag Set of Six (6) 100% Cotton Cloth Grocery Totes – Free Shipping
Recycled Grocery Tote – Eggplant

My wife and I struggle with this issue as well because I don’t want to put harmful chemicals into our septic system for fear of killing off the bacteria that makes a septic system work. I came across this article, A Look at ‘Green’ Household Cleaners, which gives some great links to green cleaning products for many of our normal cleaning needs. I happen to like using Simple Green for everyday cleaning.

Do you have a green cleaning product you’d like to share with us? If so please leave a comment and tell us about it.

Not only does the mulching mower eliminate the need to bag or rake grass clippings it helps your lawn grow better.
